First Week at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah

Our group of senior missionaries totals 88 men and women who will be going around the world to serve.  Some are nurses and doctors while others will be doing humanitarian work.  Others will be working in temples in the Philippines, Denmark and Washington D.C.  We are here with 2600 young missionaries who stay in the Missionary Training Center (MTC) between 2 to 13 weeks, depending on which language they are learning.  The missionaries going to Mongolia stay the longest.  Our first week of training consisted of learning the teaching presentations to invite others to come unto Christ.  We also have been taking language training classes in Thai since we may be staying in Thailand while our visas to Myanmar are approved.  What a great week!
