Korat, Thailand

This week we were transferred about 3 hours north of Bangkok to a town called Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat).  The population is about 1 million.  There are 2 sets of missionaries serving here in this area.  We found temporary housing in a local hotel for about 1 month.  We are still being told that our VISAs to Myanmar in the works and things are progressing for us to be able to travel there with LDS Charities and begin humanitarian service.  We attended the English language lessons last night and the missionaries did a great job.  We took a ride in a tuk-tuk from the market to our hotel.  It was breezy!  We are learning to get around without a car by walking or taking the little busses or tuk-tuks.  Traffic flow is opposite of the US, but we are getting use to watching both ways before we cross a street.
